'Number Translation Service' (NTS) is a general term referring to telephone numbers that are virtual, which simply point or 'translate' to an underlying telephone number. Often they aren't identifiable to a specific location, for example, 0800, 0844 and 0845, however uniquely we can also provide local area numbers that start 01 or 02. The prefix of the number relates directly to how the number is charged to the caller, and we currently offer the following number solutions designed to maximise each inbound call you receive:

• 01 and 02 numbers are local area and are charged at standard BT rates
• 0800 and 0808 numbers are freephone and are free to the caller
• 0844 numbers are charged at up to 5p per minute
• 0845 numbers are local rate and are charged similarly to local calls

All of these number types can be set up via our easy-to-use website, and can be managed via the facility thereafter. Numbers can then be re-pointed instantly, at anytime, without any fuss or additional costs. If you already have NTS numbers, such as 0800, 0808, 0844 and 0845 and would like to use any of our call handling solutions, please speak with us without delay - it is possible for you to retain your existing numbers and still get access to our solution.
